Well after over 8 years of running the team-swap a website and 5 years of being the primary blogger at swapblog I have decided it was time for something new. So I have taken down both the website and the blog and decided to start a new blog – Frankly Speaking. This change has been coming for a while as in the last 18 months I have worked for a company that had a devastating fire, been laid off, been on unemployment, and found a new job. That is just the stuff in my professional life.
So, since I am in a new place professionally and since my wife and I have made a lot of personal changes as well I feel it was time to do something new. This is it.
Like Swap Blog this blog will be about what is on my mind. Mostly that will center on Christianity, Cycling, Computers (the three big C’s), politics, physics, ponderous thoughts (the three P’s), with some math, music, minutiae (the little M;s) along some random posts on economics, wierd things, and other odds and ends thrown in.
Over the next week or so this blog will be built out with some more features. My goal is to be back to regular blogging with minimal site changes around Oct 5th.
For long time visitors we hope you welcome the change and we hope that you enjoy the new blog. For new visitors, well you don’t know what you are in for, but we urge you to stick around and enjoy the ride.

I like this new format. It will take some getting used to, but I can tell already that it is going to be a ‘great ride.’ Good for you.
