Over the last few months God has really shown me just how in charge He is.
God really is in command of our lives (even if we think He is not, He will show us He is really in command of the Earth), and He does control the lives of us all. Too many times we all are guilty of making this plan or that. We tend to think that we are in control of this or that, but in reality we all live daily simply due to and through God’s grace.
Many people may live like there is no God, unfortunately some of them even call themselves His people, but I am convinced that everyone reaches some point when they realize that they are not in charge of their own lives. No amount of money, success, access, power, or any other human measurable metric, truly allows someone to control all their lives. Others actions, others intent, others purposes, in addition to factors we can not control (weather, traffic, etc), all impact us and we can not control them no matter who we are and what we do. What we forget is that God can and does control everything.
He allows ourselves and other to act. He could end our “reign of freedom” at any time. He allows us to serve Him, He does not mandate it. He allows us to follow Him, He does not make us. Yet when we choose to follow Him, He calls us to actually seek Him, to actual trust Him, to actual follow Him, and to actually get to know Him.
Today, I just want you to remind you that no matter where you are (be it high or low) God is there, He is in control, He has a plan, and He knows what He is doing. You may not believe me (or Him or even in Him), but know for a fact that He is in charge and He is working to prosper and provide for all of us.
